Production Process

The production of UPVC drainage pipes usually adopts the extrusion molding process. First, the polyvinyl chloride resin and various additives are mixed in a certain proportion in the mixer to make the material uniform. Then, the mixed material is fed into the extruder, heated and melted, and extruded through the die to form the pipe blank. Finally, the pipe blank is cooled, sized, cut and other processes to make the finished UPVC drainage pipe.

Product Specifications

The nominal outer diameter of UPVC drainage pipes generally ranges from 40mm to 630mm, and the wall thickness is determined according to different application requirements and pressure levels. The common standard lengths of pipes are 4m and 6m, and can also be customized according to customer requirements.

Connection Methods

• Solvent Welding: This method uses a special solvent glue to bond the connection parts of the pipe and the fitting. The solvent glue can dissolve the surface of the UPVC material, and after the solvent evaporates, the pipe and the fitting are firmly bonded together, forming a sealed connection.

• Rubber Ring Joint: For large-diameter UPVC drainage pipes, the rubber ring joint method is often used. The socket end of the pipe is provided with a groove, and the rubber ring is placed in the groove. When the pipe is inserted into the fitting, the rubber ring is compressed to form a sealed connection, which can adapt to a certain amount of pipe displacement and vibration.
